Presentation at Šolski Center Ljubljana

We view the close collaboration with Šolski Center Ljubljana in Slovenia as a key step for promoting the adoption of the GEMS project beyond partner institutions after its completion. This is supported by its proximity to the project lead organization, the University of Ljubljana, as well as the size and diversity of the institution. Šolski Center Ljubljana comprises five schools: Gimnazija Antona Aškerca, Srednja lesarska šola, Srednja šola za strojništvo, kemijo in varovanje, Višja strokovna šola, and Evropska šola Ljubljana.

The GEMS project results were presented at Šolski Center Ljubljana to jump-start the borrowing of educational equipment established by the University of Ljubljana. Following this presentation, the developed GEMS equipment has already been shared with Višja strokovna šola and is scheduled to be integrated into their educational process in the next semester, including five GEMS servomotors. Additionally, Gimnazija Antona Aškerca has expressed interest in borrowing the GEMS mobile robot in the coming year to include it in their physics course.

These activities highlight that proximity to the equipment provider is an important factor for early adopters, facilitating access, engagement, and effective integration of GEMS tools into school curricula.
